Lovely hotel, clean well kept rooms. We stayed in dog friendly room, and you would never know. The restaurant, oh my..excellent food and service. Beautiful bar area, and outdoor seating. Special mention about lizzie. Who went above and beyond, and nothing was too much trouble. Pleasant and helpful, a credit to this hotel. She helped us so much, after a disastrous first booking at a different hotel in weston. Thank heavens we were able to book the sidcot at the last minute. Thankyou lizzy, from Ian and Lesley from liverpool..jan17th 2026

We stayed here on our way back from a trip to Cornwall. This was a great end of day location. We had two bedrooms, both identical, clean and comfortable. Staff was warm and welcoming. We had dinner at the Sidcot, food was nicely prepared, arrived in a timely fashion, service was great. Prices were reasonable for what we got. Breakfast was also good, same warm services from staff (different from the evening before), and solid value. Would highly recommend as an option to stay. (our other 'option' was a Holiday Inn in Taunton at almost triple the price!) - Great value at the Sidcot.

Absolutely loved this place. Room was perfect. Plenty of space. Big bed. Big bathroom. Food was too quality as well. Had breakfast and dinner. Girlfriend has some food-allergies which were not an issue at all. Definitely will visit again!

We had Sunday lunch here with the family and it was excellent. The food was lovely, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it’s dog-friendly too — the garden room was perfect for us. Mike was really accommodating and made sure everything went smoothly. Would recommend!

Hotel was lovely! Room was spacious, bed comfy and breakfast in the morning was great! Lovely staff also! Stayed for the night with a group of friends where we were going out in Bristol for the night, getting transport into Bristol from the hotel is a struggle of you’re a group more than 5 so advise to pre book!

Stayed for one night as an early flight from Bristol airport and very convenient. Lots of parking which is free for duration of stay. Checked in and ate in restaurant which was lovely. Log burner was lit and the place had a warm friendly ambience. Service was excellent and had a good laugh with the gentleman that served us. Food was good quality and tasty. Room was clean and recently decorated. Perfect for an overnight stay. Would definitely stay there again and explore the area nearby.

We totally enjoyed our stay in this lovely place. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The spacious car park is so useful for family trips. And the rooms are clean and nice and warm. Check-in and check-outs were easy and quick. The rooms include a large vanity mirror which became so handy while getting ready for a wedding party.

We are currently staying here and honestly can’t fault it. The staff have been so welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived. They were incredibly communicative and helpful with the check-in process, making everything smooth and stress-free. We’re staying in Room 106 and it is absolutely beautiful, very spacious, spotlessly clean, and with stunning views. The hotel itself is a beautiful building, and the outdoor seating areas are lovely, especially in the evenings when everything is nicely lit with fairy lights. The location is also fantastic, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. I genuinely can’t understand why this place is only rated 3 stars. In our experience, it truly deserves 5. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it
